All new 365 accounts require Multi Factor Auth (MFA) read instructions below to set it up:

if you only have your phone and no pc, you can set up security by following this guide:
Steps to Set Up MFA (Phone Only):
- Install the App: Download and open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone.
- Sign In: Open a mobile browser (Chrome/Safari) and go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info or aka.ms/mfasetup and sign in with your work/school credentials.
- Add Method: Select + Add method, then choose Authenticator app.
- Pairing the Device:
- Option A (Best): Select "Pair your account to the app" if available, which directly links to the app.
- Option B (Manual/Code): If prompted to scan a QR code but you cannot (as it is on the same screen), select "I want to set up a different method" or "Can't scan image" to receive a code or use app notifications instead.
- Approve: Follow the prompts to approve a test notification in the Authenticator app

Setup Email on Outlook
New devices and updates are launched all the time but the links below from Microsoft are updated all the time to help you set up four 365 account on your device.
NKIT recommend you use the Outlook app on all mobile devices, the built in mail apps are not compliant for CyberEssentials certification:

Office Desktop Apps - users with a standard/e3/premium license can download office apps:

The easiest way to access mail is via the web app click here: 365 webmail and sign in with your credentials
Make sure you don't click save credentials if you are using a shared computer

For sites or users with their own standard license, its best to use OneDrive on the pc/mac. to avoid permissions issues, avoid having more than one OneDrive account per pc
